Which statements are true about a new custom typelist?

A new custom typelist cannot have a TTX file

A new custom typelist is defined in a TTI file

Both statements are true

The correct answer indicates that both statements regarding a new custom typelist are true.

A new custom typelist does indeed use a TTX (Type List XML) file to define its data structure and mappings. This file plays a crucial role in the configuration and management of typelists within the Guidewire platform, allowing the definitions to be recognized and utilized by the application.

Additionally, a custom typelist is also defined in a TTI (Type List Implementation) file. The TTI file is essential for configuring the typelist in a manner that is effectively integrated into the larger system. By delineating the types and their corresponding values, this file supports the application in enforcing data integrity and enabling search functionalities based on that typelist.

Both statements accurately reflect the requirements and characteristics of custom typelists in Guidewire, validating the correctness of the selected answer. This dual reliance on both the TTX and TTI files emphasizes the structured approach employed by Guidewire for managing complex data types in its application framework.

Neither statement is true
